"Together we love; together we learn"

Barford St. Peter's School Trust

Barford St Peter’s School Trust was originally established nearly 200 years ago. Its primary role is to support the school financially using funds from its management of two properties: the old school building and School House.

The income generated is used to help the school by providing a proportion of capital expenditure for the school buildings and funding for much needed resources to enable a first-class education to be delivered to your children. In recent months, the Trust has approved funding for laptops to support distance learning during Lockdown, CleverTouch panels to bring classroom technology right up to date, and new fencing and gates to improve site security.

In addition, we can provide financial support to former pupils of Barford St Peter’s Primary School up to the age of 25 for educational purposes and resources only.

The board of trustees is made up from members of the local community. Regular board meetings are held twice a year, with the occasional need to meet between times. For more information about the Trust, please email the trust’s secretary, Helen Clay at helen.oakframe@btinternet.com .

One of our children has recently received a new trike paid for by the Barford St Peter's School Trust. Her reaction when she first saw it was 'Wow, Wow!'. This trike has already changed her life! Before this, she was having to come to school in a pram and it was making things uncomfortable and challenging. She now has a specialist trike which she is already riding independently. Thank you to the trust from her parents and from all the staff at school. Wonderful news!
