Welcome to Year One!
Welcome to our Year 1 page! Our teacher is Mrs Sahota and our teaching assistant is Mrs Bunn.
In Year 1, we study a range of fascinating topics such as: Toys, The Gunpowder Plot, Poles Apart, Amazing Africa, Brilliant Barford and Being beside the Seaside!
Reading is at the heart of our Barford St Peter's curriculum and our high-quality class texts this year include Dogger by Shirley Hughes, Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers and Handa's Surprise by Eileen Browne.
We will keep you updated with our learning in our newsletters, Bluesky and shared learning events.
